This position would be one of coordinating field operations at every stage of the project, ensuring an exceptional experience for the homeowner, contractor, other designers and architects while maintaining profitability. Our projects are primarily high-end residential homes with discerning and luxury clientele, so professionalism, attention to detail, and strong communication are essential.
Must be a strong problem solver and willing to do some minor hands-on work to get the job done when necessary. Strong computer skills including email, above average Excel skills, and simple AutoCAD are a must. Organization and Communication are the two strongest skills needed.
The new hire will be responsible for multiple projects and jobsites, all run by different GCs and sold by different sales designers. One of our keys to our success is to complete projects swiftly and solve problems even quicker. The project manager makes that happen by planning for success and reacting to issues quickly and professionally.
This position would be responsible for projects originating from our West Palm Beach showroom, coordinating installation and jobsite activities throughout Southeast Florida and surrounding areas.
The Project Manager will work closely with our internal team including Co-Founders, Director of Operations, Purchasing Manager, Shop Manager, Engineers, and Sales Designers, ensuring clear communication and organization between the field, the showroom, and our Michigan production facility. Project communication and updates are managed through Monday.com and other digital tools.
The perfect candidate for this position would:
Source, manage, instruct and schedule trades to install and paint custom cabinetry
Ensure profitability of jobs through smart scheduling, labor management and problem solving
Safeguard work from damage during the installation process
Thrive working as part of a team with production, purchasing, and sales
Be a strong communicator through both email and oral communications
Demonstrate passion for detail, accuracy and completeness
Be extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel
Be highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects and jobsites simultaneously
Be comfortable working with high-end builders, designers, architects, and homeowners
