A Toast to the Trades in West Palm Beach: The Art of the Build
Last month, Bakes & Kropp proudly hosted “The Art of the Build” at our West Palm Beach showroom. We welcomed an incredible group of interior designers, architects, and luxury contractors to celebrate the creativity, precision, and collaboration that define the world of high-end kitchen design.
Industry professionals in the West Palm Beach area gathered for a night of cool conversations in our beautiful showroom.
This event was more than a chance to cool off in style—it was a tribute to the professionals who shape the future of luxury living spaces. In partnership with Woolems Luxury Builders, Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove, and Fuse Specialty Appliances, we created a refreshing experience that brought together craftsmanship, innovation, and connection.
One of the highlights of the evening was live cooking demonstrations by Sub-Zero chefs, where guests experienced top-tier culinary performance in real time. In addition to being absolutely delicious, the demonstration was a showcase of what great appliances and thoughtful kitchen design can inspire.
The Sub-Zero culinary team prepared a flavorful selection of hors d’oeuvres.
The roasted shrimp with mango cucumber pico and triple chocolate sesame brownie were a hit.
Offering an escape from the summer heat, the evening’s ambiance was elevated by ice sculptures inspired by kitchen tools and architectural elements—an elegant and unexpected nod to the art of craftsmanship. As guests sipped chilled signature cocktails, they explored our West Palm Beach showroom at 3085 South Dixie Hwy., where timeless cabinetry meets tailored design.
Bartenders chilled signature cocktails by pouring them through the Bakes & Kropp ice sculpture.
Woolems leadership kept it cool: Amadou Dial, director of operations, and John Higgins, general superintendent.
“The Art of the Build” was our way of celebrating the trades and spotlighting the artistry and collaboration that goes into every custom home. We are grateful to everyone who joined us and made the evening a success—and especially to our partners, whose shared vision helped bring this experience to life.
We look forward to more opportunities to gather, celebrate, and elevate the craft together. Until then, here’s to building beautifully!
