Set along Nassau Point Road in Cutchogue, this new build kitchen was designed in collaboration with Keri Fields Interiors and features cabinetry from Bakes & Kropp’s Stratton Collection. The aesthetic balances transitional and modern influences, pairing hand-painted white cabinetry with Drift Oak accents for warmth and dimension. The result is a light-filled space that feels both tailored and relaxed, complementing the home’s waterfront setting.
The layout is defined by two substantial islands, creating distinct yet connected work zones to support the client’s must-haves: two refrigerators, three ovens, and a dedicated coffee system. One island is designed primarily for prep and cooking, while the second introduces an oak waterfall countertop intended for dining, reinforcing the kitchen’s role as a gathering space. The combination of painted finishes and stained white oak detailing adds contrast and architectural interest without overwhelming the clean lines of the Stratton cabinetry.
Though expansive in scale and program, the design remains cohesive and highly functional. Integrated storage is seamlessly incorporated throughout the cabinetry, maintaining uncluttered sightlines and supporting the demands of a multi-appliance layout. Signature Bakes & Kropp elements—most notably the wood countertop and the interplay of painted and stained finishes—anchor the space in craftsmanship, resulting in a kitchen that is timeless, balanced, and built for everyday living.
